「飛地書店」由來自香港的媒體人張潔平所創辦，這兩年來，飛地見證了許多作者與讀者抱著共同的關懷，單純因為「讀」這件事展開深入的交流，走進彼此的世界。現在，飛地與畸零地即將攜手舉辦第一屆「野生讀者節」，和每位讀者一起連結閱讀與自身和生命的相關性！
讀者是書店和書業的立足之本，但這個角色不僅止於此。在現今社群媒體中，這是一個作者比讀者多的年代。想要表達意見，表達自己的人，遠比想要聆聽故事，聆聽別人的人更多。也可以說，在這樣的環境裡，一個人大多數時候必須要不停對外表達、即時回應，有時間和空間聽、讀、思考，反而是越來越奢侈的事。但先是一個好讀者，才有可能成為一個好作者。
正因如此，「野生讀者節」應運而生！
